2024 is Clonmel Applefest’s 7^th year and has a theme of ‘Soul Food’, exploring connections to wellbeing, health and environmental sustainability. 

The festival will feature several food events and activities which include a ‘Memorable Meals’ Storyslam hosted by Local sheep farmer Joe Whelan, a music and Tapas soirée with the resident Johanna Adele Jüssi trio at The Hub café, the screening of ‘Dinner 2050’ by Tadgh Byrne with a panel discussion with local growers, a breadmaking workshop by the Ballybrado company, a ‘Bees and Biodiversity’ talk by award-winning  Beekeeper Aoife Ní Giolla Coda and Seán Ronayne’s fascinating illustrated talk about birdsong. The very popular traditional Harvest Fair also returns at the new Kickham Plaza on Saturday 28^th with family-friendly crafts activities, demos, select foodtrucks and a specially commissioned ‘Juice Dance’ by Tipperary based dance company Instant Dissidence throughout the day.
