Join one of Ireland’s most renowned storytellers as she regales us with apple stories from Ireland and beyond. Liz Weir is a storyteller and writer from Northern Ireland. She was the first winner of the International Story Bridge Award from the Storytelling Network, USA, which cited her “exemplary work promoting the art of storytelling”.
Liz has worked with people of different cultural backgrounds – from children in Israel and Palestine, to universities in Germany and Wales, and on TV in South Africa, Canada and Australia. She has also written more than 20 books such as ‘When Dad Was Away’, a picture book about a child whose father is in jail, and ‘Tales of the Road’, a children’s book about Irish Traveller life.
